These mobiles are crafted entirely in banana leaf fiber. Traditional African dancers perform on special occasions - weddings, meetings of elders & circumcision. They perform in a circle singing praises to the important guests. The leader wears a long light-colored fiber gown. She first sings the praises of the celebrants and the other dancers repeat her words. Each mobile is approximately 12 inches in diameter. The dancing figures are 5 inches tall.
